Yesterday i went to a muffler shop, just to check on my exhaust system

We found that out that the resonator is leaking. It wasn't the installers fault, the gas was leaking at that part where is the piping meats the tank itself.
So if you can jack up your car, start the car, let it idle ( dont forget to pull your e brake)

go underneath and put your hand to the piping around the resonator tank.

Oh and another thing.. i talked to the guy there and i told him that my exhaust is really raspy now, he told me that the resonators break in ( or he said bake in? i dont know so i have to change it.

so guys... if you have 1-2 year old resonators and the exhaust doesn't sound as nice how it used to.. change the resonators.

 

the resenator should not be bad after 1-2 years. Should last as long as a muffler system, atleast 10?

If it is leaking, i would maybe try a dif exhaust shop and ask about the quality of the install.

If the resonator itself broke i would contact magnaflow and ask about a replacement or warranty.

I would ask other shops first before paying for any work to be done

 

it wasnt the shop.... it was not leaking from the welding... it was leaking from the tank.. its not leaking anymore so i will not contact magnaflow for now.

btw my exhaust system sounds different and more rasp.. so muffler or resonator is braked in or worn out or i dont know how to call it
