Probably not a LOT louder, since the header/spipe would still be stock (i assume?)... but there would probably be a difference. Don't know if that would be good or bad. You'll probably ruin the nice sound of the TRD exhaust though. As for gains... unlikely anything worth mentioning... maybe 1 or 2 whp? Don't know.
It will get a little louder since you're removing a catalytic converter, but not nearly as loud as it would be adding a header like ack said.
Your gains wouldn't increase, they'd shift in the power band. Deleting the cat drops your low-end a little, but adds to your high RPM gains a little.
