Exhaust Difference: GReddy EVO2 vs SP2
Hello all,
I am looking to put a new exhaust on my '06 Scion tC. I am looking at the GReddy exhausts and besides noise level, and appearance I have not been able to find a definite difference that justifies the $80+ price difference between the EVO2 and SP2.
Does anyone know if the EVO2 has any actual benefits over the SP2? Flow rate, weight, material, etc? Personal opinions?
If not, I am going to pick up the SP2 this week.
Thanks,
Brandon

You dont really get any significant gains from exhausts. They are both cat-back systems which is a little better than an axel-back. IMO, just get whatever fits you best in terms of sound, looks, price, etc.
The biggest differences are the sound and look. The Evo2 is a coffee can, it looks and sounds like you would expect a coffee can exhaust to sound and look. Big metal pipe hanging out of your butt.
The SP2 has an OEM look and a nice sporty rumble.
Heres the link to the topic with audio clips and videos of different exhausts.
