i want an exhaust but..... i dont want the loud obnoxious ____ed off bumble bee sound that a honda has when it drops gears and sounds like its going somewhere but really still taking off...... i want a deep sound that performs as well as its noise comfort level any suggestions i wanted to go with magnaflow cat bak or borla axel back please i need some in put

i have to vouch for TRD as well... its a nice low rumble you can hear both inside, and out, yet it isn't 'rice', if you know what i mean.

 

well.. in that case.... trd is nice... but if you go and do header and other pipes it might be too loud... and youll swap out or add resonators...
i had a trd, but it was too loud for me after i started adding and substracting other pipes...

 

most 4 cylinder engines w/out a cat will sound like that, not just Honda. If you do remove the cat, just get a resonator.

i hear the greddy sp2 is quiet but nice .. i have the dc axleback n megan midpipe and i can barely hear it wen im in the car

 

ARK N2 catback...12whp gains and no rasp whatsoever...deep sound...FTW!

And it's quiet too once you add a header.

 

Greddy SP2 or Tanabe Concept G...I think the SP2 is quieter.

 

if your adding a header PrecisionMuffler is the way to go

 

after seeing the video i am going to buy an ARK. not ____ ricey at all.

i havent heard the ark exhaust with an aftermarket header. if someone has a vid can they please post it? also, if anyone has a vid with the precision muffler exhaust and aftermarket header id like to see that too and compare it.

 

i would've went with the tanabe concept g.....

 

cat back this.. axle back that... this muffler FTW that muffler is better.... etc etc etc etc....

if you dont want your car to sound like a honda:

1) go with 2 1/2 pipes!
2) for deeper sound get a glasspack (!!!!!!!!!!!)
(go to youtube and search for this : before glasspack.... you gonna find a blue miata with big ___ muffler.. just check it how is that car sound before.. and after the glasspack!!)
3) get a resonator = your car is not gonna fart like a honda

btw i still dont know if i can go with a glasspack and a resonator.. .im gonna go to the muffler shop today and im gonna ask them because i want to get a nice deep/fairly loud system...
