if you dont want your car to sound like a honda:

1) go with 2 1/2 pipes!
2) for deeper sound get a glasspack (!!!!!!!!!!!)
(go to youtube and search for this : before glasspack.... you gonna find a blue miata with big butt muffler.. just check it how is that car sound before.. and after the glasspack!!)
3) get a resonator = your car is not gonna fart like a honda

btw i still dont know if i can go with a glasspack and a resonator.. .im gonna go to the muffler shop today and im gonna ask them because i want to get a nice deep/fairly loud system...
are u kidding?!

glasspacks have a worse sound than a header without resonator! It is NOT deeper...it's raspier!

ok know this though,
1. It's a miata, not a tC
2. There could be something else there such as resonators
3. It's a miata, not a tC

is something confusing to you? I'm not trying to be a jerk, i'm just letting you know facts about glasspacks. I had a buddy who put this on his tC and it was massively raspy...then added resonators, no difference, so he switched it out and got a real muffler

The ARK products are nice. Post some pics when you get it on.

Even with my Injen CAI the SP2 is dead silent with the windows up. Windows down, it's still just as quiet, I hear the intake more. My only problem with it is the tip. Its friggin huge, it sticks out too far and that outwardly rolled lip is ugly imo. That said, I still love the SP2, I'm just getting it "fixed" a bit.

The PrecisionMuffler.com Axle back is the way that you want to go, Its a quiet sport exhaust system and later when you add a header there will not be a loud rasp like on a lot of systems out there. We have had lots of customers that were happy to have our system with their header, because it keeps things quiet and will not annoy you when you are trying to talk to someone on your phone or in your car.
