I recently lost my muffler and my car is now louder than it was. Does anyone know how to weld or do that type of work? Will post some pictures once I figure out how to get the pics from my iPhone.
But the pipe connected to the muffler broke lose and my muffler fell off. So I asking for help in the near future with getting that part of my pipe off.

I'd go with a muffler shop and I'd get two estimates, just in case the first guy tries to stiff you.

 

I have a buddy with a stock tC1 midpipe and muffler that I'm sure he'd sell you cheap if you're interested.

Definitely a better option than a muffler shop.

 

If you don't weld, or have $ for a muffler man, you can sometimes buy some cheap pipe connectors, and clamp your new muffler on. Depends on what's broke, on how the repair is done. But if you can't weld, and want to learn, that's not an area to begin with. Get your car fixed 1st, then buy a cheap mig welder, and practice in your garage, not under your car. You have a few options.
