Default exhaust question

ok well i searched didnt really come up with much. basically i have a question. i sold my tsudo axelback not to long ago and put on a trd axelback. and i have a friend install both and remove the tsudo. basically when i sold the tsudo the guy i sold it to asked me where the gasket was? is there suppose to be a gasket between the axelback and midpipe? does it have to be there? cause when i installed the trd there wasnt a gasket as for as i know. just curious is that gasket have to be on there? if its not on there what would be the problem?

there is suppose to be a donut gasket in between there, if there isnt it could cause an exhaust leak.

i mean if i just took off the stock axelback would the donut gasket stay on the midpipe? bascially i mean would it maybe not have fallen off the midpipe and stayed attached probolly? cause the guy that installed the exhaust said there wasnt a gasket there. but there is no leaks. cause he checked everything to make sure it wasnt leaking. so i would have to assume there is ether a gasket on there. or just no leaks.

I was the guy who bought the N1 lol. Well I guess I need to make or buy a gasket.

I just ordered raceland intake and coilovers and now this tsudo. Granted the tsudo wont stay on the car for long neither will the coilovers. Just need something to hold me over.

do you have stock axelback on now? cause like those guys were saying you can use your stock one. i had it bolted on on stock midpipe with whatever gasket is on teh car stock. so you shouldnt have to get new one or make one just bolt it on

Yup I got it the other night. I don't like re-using gaskets so I went advance and they had one in stock so I got that and installed the axle-back last night. I really impressed by the exhaust. not raspy at all and not too loud.

I got coilovers and intake being installed tomorrow. just need to get a spring compressor and extra set of jack stands. I might pain my stock rims as well.

I just need to contact HIDExtra, cause i got my kit monday and last night one of the ballast crapped out on me.
