It all started about two weeks ago... I did nothing special or changed anything. When I unlock my car to get in the lights do not blink but the drivers side door unlocks. However, if I double-press to unlock the passenger side they will flash for that but only for the second button press, as if I only pressed the button once. This happens 100% of the time and I have no problem recreating the problem.

At the same time, I also now have an issue that if I only unlock the drivers side door, get in, and start the car, the passenger door will on occasion unlock itself. This only happens within 10 seconds of starting the car. It will not unlock once I'm driving/whatever. I'd say this happens 20% of the time.

I thought I was going insane until I made the connection that both issues started at the same time. Before I take it to the dealer, I'd rather try a few simple DIY suggestions to the cause - I don't like going to the dealer. Any ideas? Has anyone even heard of this before?
