Default Finally gave up on Scionspeed turbo stage II order

After preordering since February and waiting after countless delays and promises of delivery week after week but never delivered, and going through the ordeal with Tctunerz previously, I am finally giving up on the Scionspeed turbo stage II kit order. It was a waste of time and money. Money that can be invested elsewhere. Now, I have asked them to refund my money for more than a week, and they told me they would refund ASAP, but I still haven't received a credit on my account yet.

Their turbo does look good. Good luck to those who get it.

I am ready to look into other venues/turbos!

Who has ordered from Scionspeed and then cancelled? Has anyone received their turbo who is not in Florida?

I hope you get your money back since chargeback time is over for you if you paid by CC. I don't like it when people or business makes promises when they don't have complete control of the whole thing. They turn around and try to pass the blame on their vendor/supplier if the promised deadline is missed.

Draven said somthing about him canceling and they said he wont get his money back till after the orders are shipped....

I dont get why... maybe they built one kit needed the money and took it to invest in the other kits. Not good business practice if you ask me. Money should be refunded.

With specialized, low volume equipment, never order unless it's in stock. A while back I shopped for a video camera online. I cancelled orders from 3 different companies in a row when it hadn't shipped 2 weeks after the order.

Call your credit card company and tell them what happened. They may be able to help.

And you can call Scionspeed back and ask for the name of their lawyer. They may get the hint.

Time seems slow when you are waiting for money refund. The clock is ticking and no money yet.

Their turbo looks nice, but I haven't seen anyone else post if they had received it. I've only seen 2 posts about the SS turbo. One on clubsciontc and one here, by simez. Both were local near Miami, so they could drive there to have the turbo installed. If they have "kits already made", they should be able to ship it out to the pre-orders too. I still don't understand so long of a wait for pre-orders, and wait after wait of promised dates.

No refund yet.

Am I the only one left from the Scionspeed orders? I guess ZPI and Scionspeed are running into the same pre-order problem!

Yea, I was going to start a thread but saw yours! No refund yet - of course I don't want nail down RacingSolution because I have a problem with ScionSpeed. Puts me in a poopie place.

Azure Pearl tc and I have been in contact the last several months about this whole thing. We'd both just had it with the wait.

I cancelled after 2 months of waiting. I was pretty ____ed since I ordered from credit card and lost some interest for nothing. They were pretty good with returns and communications though. ScionSpeed people are a lot nicer then the guy who came on here trying to bash ZPI.

Spoke to Alexis last week and he stated that he was going to refund my money by the end of last week (Before Labor Day). I had to call last week because it was suppose to be refunded 3 weeks before. I haven't seen the refund post to my account yet. I think I've given ample time for this refund to occur (all $3550 of it). What's up with this? I have email to proved this refund was to happen 3 weeks ago. This is not appreciated.

ZPI ordered guys are last come first served here! Lucky guys!

Sorry guys, just venting here!

I've got nothin' either. I haven't really bothered anybody about it yet save once to Brian at Racingsolution to see if he knew what was up.

Draven... I apologize for the hassle.. They told me they should have the funds to issue the refunds shortly... That came from Alexy... I have yet to get any refund money so far. I am still working on getting that back from them.

is this legal!!? to take someones money, for a product thats not available, and use their money to go make the product?now i can understand if they took your pre order and needed time to finish your kit, and held your money till they finished it, but to go spend it to basically start their business?

^^^ Agreed. All that preorder money should've gone into a holding account. Now they need to "get the funds" to offer a refund, that is total BS. Are they that broke that they can't refund $3500? Looks like they spent your money tricking out their own show car (that's been in magazines, you know they got money for that).

Didn't they also say back in March that they'd give preorder customers free Tein's for the delay? I probably would've cancelled then 'cause what company would give $1000 coilovers for being two months late (at the time)? They've sounded fishy to me for a while.

Sure is good to see ZPI shipping.

Im sure they meant Tein S-techs, which are 150 dollar lowering springs.

Maybe so, but why so quick to give parts they don't even have?

They did only mean to offer Tein S-Techs. I have no idea what could be taking so long, I haven't seen any revisions to their kits.

Draven, good luck. Hopefully everything works out for you and your turbo company of choice later doesn't do the same. You have myself and ZPI now...
