I know what you mean about the intake sound. When I first put the K&N on about a year ago I though about taking it off since it was so loud. Ive since gotten used to it and actually like it...running the Injen now though.

So, you have to take the bumper off to install this intake? Or it just made it easier ?

I would strongly recommend taking it off to do this. It's not difficult to remove or put back on, so it's not a huge deal for how much easier it is.

 

I thought every step of the Injen install was super easy. But when I got to the second tube and tried to pass it through the fender you could hear me cussing a block away. I was at my firestation doing it so it was really quiet funny. My captain was like "Would you like me to cut the fender off with the Jaws of life" All in all best money I have spent on the car as of yet. When I put my monster ___ 250lb speaker box in my performance went to crap. Now she jumps up to 80 before I can tell her no
