will the 07-08 fit the 09?

also, isnt the stock tc already close to a CAI? by this i mean the filter is already kind of away from the engine isnt it?

No doubt ;) I was going to be cheap and get one off of ebay. But then I read where someone dyno'd a few different cai's and the injen was by far better for several reasons.. lemme see if I can find the link... https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...ght=dyno+injen Oh, how's it feel to live in the whitehouse? ;)

The stock intake is "close" to being a CAI because it has a tube extension that draws in air from the bumper area.

Yea but a CAI goes all the way down near the fenderliner, and has no restrictions like the stock intake. Pretty much no where near a CAI

better check Pizza Hut,they got the $5 pizzones now too...........lol

but yes the 07-08 works on 09 as well.

words of wisdom.........carefull installing the fender part of the intake, you may want to unbolt the fender a bit, last one we did it dented the fender just a bit on the mount on the intake hitting it as we pushed it in place.not sure why they made it so big as there is lots of room to rotate it around once in place.

The guys from Last Look Customs are sponsored sellers on this site so if you look them up you can send them a PM and see what type of deal you can get on the CAI that might be better than the website which currently lists them for $235.

Anything for the 07 will fit the 08, 09, etc. They are all the same, the only different models are 05 - 06.

Don't expect miracles from the CAI, it sounds better, the sound of sucking air but don't expect a meaningful hp gain, get the Doc Isotope panel to decrease vibration and getting the CAI into the fender well is a PITA and it will get scratched up in the process.

No it is not. A cold air intake gets cooler air and more of it to the engine. If the stock intake was close to a cai then the injen cai wouldn't have made 9whp over stock
