if anyone orders from stuart from last look customs make sure you tell him what year you need (add to cart automatically will add the 05-06 model) and also what color you need as well (chrome or black)

The stock intake is "close" to being a CAI because it has a tube extension that draws in air from the bumper area.
No it is not. A cold air intake gets cooler air and more of it to the engine. If the stock intake was close to a cai then the injen cai wouldn't have made 9whp over stock
That is incorrect. The Injen statement about whp is when coupled with a full exhaust so it is hard to distinguish what is actually increasing the whp. It is also an incorrect statement to say it is getting the engine more air; that is wrong, too much air chokes the motor, such thing as air-to-fuel ratio. The reason why it is called a CAI is because it is closer to the ground, not good for those who drive through large ditches and puddles - hydrolock, it is known the closer to the atmosphere the lower the temperature of the air which in turn, theoretically in the case of a CAI, equates to more power. With the CAI mounted in the fender well all the car the the first drivers tire pushes into the wheel well also is pushed into the intake.

Don't do mods on your car until you understand 'wtf' they are
