Default Fuel Pressure Regulator?

I got a free Fuel pressure regulator from a friend. My question is if i put it on and raised the PSI. Would i gain any power or would the ECU keep the injectors spraying the same amount of fuel?

I wouldn't mess with your fuel pressure with out tuning the car for it. the ecu would over ride it probably, but you would run super rich if you just upped the amount of fuel. And you could possibly max out your injectors fast. As a rule don't add fuel until you need it

Well number one you have a returnless system on your car. So in order to even install it you will need to either modify your rail and add a return line back to the tank or get a new fuel rail and of course also run a return line to the tank. Secondly, adding fuel will only slow your car down most of the time since the stock ECU runs a bit rich as a margin of safety. Now if you are running a Very large turbo and a built motor the regulator may work well for you along with a full fuel system but right now I'd say it's a complete wasteh of money for you. Next time research before you buy.
