man i wish we still had those gas prices! yes ive read that on here somewhere.

im only getting on average 240-60 miles to the tank? I drive 16miles a day on the freeway going to and from work, then the weekend in the city? but the a/c is on about 98% of the time, just cause its so dame hot here!

i filled up last night for $35 @ $2.89 for regular.

All electronics will also hurt your fuel economy such as defrosters, heated seats, the heater, and cruise control

Overanalyzing to the max. As a driver of less than a year, I am used to gas prices and find this article to be bordering extremist.

While driving, imagine that the gas and brake pedals are the faces of babies
WOW
Also, better octane gas will give you slightly better mileage indirectly, because of the smoothness of the engine and simply the quality of the gas.
Not unless you're boosted, or if you like giving ExxonMobil more of your $ for no reason. Actually, I suppose your mpg's would be 0 eventually if you ran a boosted car on 87.

Purchasing a car with manual transmission can gain you up to 3 mpg
unfortunately, not for us. this is certainly one of the few cars I've seen where the manual has a lower EPA highway estimate than the auto

wow, it's already been quoted, but I'll do it again....

While driving, imagine that the gas and brake pedals are the faces of babies- literally.
I'm gonna go stomp on some babies faces - them'll be some darn ugly babies.

haha - that actually made me laugh at work when I read that.
