Default Gasket between AW header and CC / ZPI S-pipe...

I am on my second gasket due to leaks. The first gasket used was from the first muffler shop and needed some grinding. When we broke it loose the other day you could see some carbon splash outside the gasket. So we tried a different one with gasket sealer the other day and only time will tell.

As many people that have this set up anyone find the perfect gasket or is it on the fly at the shop as my experiences have went. I heard that ZPI made a special S-pipe for AW headers but wonder if its more a special gasket. We also had to sand/grind the other end of the CC s-pipe as the pipe was not flush with the flange and stuck out just a tiny bit which also caused some leaking.

I also had a slight leak with mine, but I put a good coat of copper gasket sealant on the gasket and it has solved all of the leaks. I had no problems with the s-pipe to midpipe gasket.
