Default Gauges and Gauge pod options

I am planing on getting a AEM UEGO Wideband setup. With this said I need to get a gauge pod and possibly other gauges to fill empty spots. I want to get gauges that might will be useful in tuning all motor. We have a coolant temp gauge already so that won't be any use to me. If I cannot think of any gauges that will help me tune I was thinking about getting a autometer d-pic but the gauge pod I have found had three so I will still have an empty slot. Any suggestions and reasons for why the gauge will help me tune. I heard of people tuning with a vacuum gauge but I don't know how this is done any comments would be appreciated.

Well I have the D-pic and man I love it! I think one gauge you should look into if you going to do some tuning would be a Pyrometer gauge. Just a thought.

I hate to sound dumb but what is pyrometer, I know it has something to do with burning.

Its Exhaust temp. I believe it goes like this, if its too low then your running rich and if it is to high then you running lean. Someone correct me if Im wrong.

Get a pyro, sometimes you can be within what you feel is a safe A/F ratio and still be heatsoaking. Different engines have different prime A/F's.

You will instantly tell with a pyro that you are heatsoaking when your EGT temps start getting out of their usual native ranges for whatever speed/rpm youre at.

I run Pyro, Wideband (Innovate LC-1) and a DPIC (just because I needed a third gauge, may replace it as it's pretty much a toy).

well if there picture is correct on there site then it is exactly the same as the CC one I have. I love it and it fits great. Everyone else on here seemed to like the paint match up on the CC but I wasn't happy with it and just found a good matching paint and did it myself.

check out the Brockway R920. It's like a bunch of digital gauges all in 1 box.

I'm thinking about getting one.
