Default Gauging Interest: Adjustable Throttle Controller Group Buy

Gauging Interest: Adjustable Throttle Controller Group Buy (2nd run)

A new thread will be created in the "Sponsored Sales" section of the forum once we see there's enough interest.

TWP will apply for vendor status then.

--------------------------

Discussion thread (original GI thread): https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=177520

--------------------------

What is an adjustable throttle controller?

This kit functions like the Blitz electronic throttle controller but w/ more adjustable steps to serve different conditions from drag racing, drifting to hyper-mile cruising. And our kit is NOT a bolt-on that will make 20HP in 30 minutes. It's a kit that will manipulate the throttle regulator to response faster or slower at user's desire.

Electronic Throttle Controller Features:
1. 12 step adjustment switch
2. Reverse cancel wire
3. Special wire connector for Subaru Legacy
4. Installation Guide
5. 1 year product warranty for replacement
6. Built-in safety bypass switch. No worry if hardware failure occurs.

This kit is plug-n-play, but if it is used w/ Scan Gauge or other OBD port connected device, you will need to buy a cable splitter for it to work properly.

--------------------------

TWP is interested in creating another group buy. Obviously, the more buyers, the better the deal gets. MSRP: $180

9+ orders $129 shipped to US lower 48 states
16+ orders $119 shipped to US lower 48 states
22+ orders $109 shipped to US lower 48 states

These will be shipped via USPS Priority and buyers will receive a tracking number.

In addition to the specific harnesses for the tC, xD, xB1, xB2, TWP carries harnesses for other popular Japanese imports i.e. Honda Civic, Honda Fit, Mazda6, Toyota Corolla, Subaru Impreza, Nissan 350Z, Acura TSX, Lexus...etc. You do not have to restrict to buy for a Scion. The controller for European imports costs more and will NOT be a part of this group buy.

Please list your user name, make, model, and year. This will allow TWP to send the right harness to you!

--------------------------

Closing date for this group buy is set to June 30, 2010. Usually GB's just fly by and are gone but for those w/ a tight budget, who wants in on this deal, will have some time to save up for one.

No, the kit won't damage the ECU or sensor. The kit doesn't change the volume of air being sucked in.

What it does is to improve/change the velocity not the capacity of air being sucked through throttle body. That way, you have the opportunity to change the mode from Sports (suck in air faster) to Eco (slower) in order to cope w/ different driving condition you might encounter.

Sincerely,

To encourage this possible GB. All T/C in this GB will be upgraded to the latest "Flat" Racing version (only 15mm).

We need 4 more ppl to achieve the $129 bracket.

Sincerely,
TWP
