Not to get into that little argument again, but the problem we have is that we don't continue to make the torque high into the RPM band. If we could have the same amount of torque at 3k RPM at 8k RPM we'd have an insane amount of power. It'll take some crazy VVT-i to do that. More realistically, to get the same amount of power, one would need to shift the entire torque curve over by about 1 or 2k RPM. It's not quite so easy as a few bolt-ons to do that. Yes, there's no replacement for displacement; but we're still starting at a lower point so it'll take a bit more effort to realize the gains that'll beat an RSX-S.

With all else equal.

I think its possible, get the I/H/E, then go with the pully's flywheel, new tires, and then after all this get an e-manage, tune your car to get the most power and youll definately beat a stock rsx.

If you want to compete with a type s, swap a gts motor. Then modify that, and you'll be at around 220whp..

Blk.

The entire 2zz swap idea has been done. just cause a 2zz is fast in a celica gt-s. Doesn't mean it will be fast in a 4 door unibody. 2900 lbs touring coupe.
