Default Got my car on the dyno

So I got my car on the dyno this past Saturday. Will post up dyno sheets later, but all you really need to know is this is an '08 with just a weapon-r short ram. The car put down 147 whp and 153 wtq. I'm pretty happy with it, as it is what i expected to put down. I just wanted to get kind of a baseline for when I go with the trd s/c. I have also been toying with the idea of picking up another 1g dsm as just a toy car. (I miss my last one so much )

Injen SR with hood down and TRD exhaust: 161whp and 166ft/lb. This surprised me and the 3 other guys bacause well, the tests on this site show that the peak power they got with the injen was 157whp. There cant prossibly be a way the the TRD is making 4whp can there? Anyways just thought I would throw mine in the ring.

Get that 1g again. Since I had my xB I've had 4 dsms and don't regret getting into them. Mainly because my dsm is faster than my xB would ever be.

Please note that dynos are only good for before/after scenarios.

Each dyno is different... each atmosphere is different.... and even the settings by the operator can have a direct effect on its reports. We use a dyno dynamics dyno back in BR, and it's a "load-bearing" dyno that reports substantially lower numbers than dynojets.

Just please use caution when trying to compare arbitrary numbers over the internet

well when we dynoed the car it was a before /after scenario. the first time was bone stock and the again after adding the I/E . it made 139whp stock and 159 after I/E.iI do agree that that differences of 1-5 hp between the cars i.e 159 -161 whp is probably based on temperature, tire pressure, humidity etc.thats why you should only take these numbers as a type of guideline and not as gospel
