I was wondering if anyone knows if the mega cat back drift spec exhaust fitment issue had been resolved im thinking about buying it

 

Its fixed, no bumper burning on mine. Ive already put 3000miles on it as well. You can drive to PA and ill show you if you want.

 

I'm not positive but I think that there is 2 different versions.. if you buy it new it should be the updated version without fitment issues.

Or you could wait a few more weeks and the OEM style should be available.

lol, v2 is the only version they sell at the moment for drift spec.

 

ive put about 1,000 miles on my megan drift spec with no burning at all. i do notice the exhaust hitting on the brace thats underneath the car though, ive been trying to fix that without bending the brace.

 

Just bend the mounting rods on the midpipe closest to the bracket upwards and it goes away.

 

no fitment issuses! had mine installed 1 week after i got my car.. which was a month ago. Sounds excellent, and no bumper burning!

hahahaha i just looked at my car, and my bumpers melted. oh well i guess they aren't all fixed up after all

haha.. when did you get your exhaust d_gage? I got mine a month ago..

 

Mine is fine an dandy. If you install it right you shouldnt have a problem...

 

got mine about a month ago also, and yes i installed it correctly. i didn't do the clamp mod to the exhaust hanger like most people did. maybe i should though... ill put it up on my lift tonight to see if i missed anything when i installed it
