Alright so life is good and my car is ready for a good amount of parts to be installed since the tsudo N1. In july i'll be installing my headers at my brother in laws shop and then running it on the dyno.

Question: I kept the stock mid pipe and just added the exhuast. Since the tsudo mid pipe doesnt really combine with the weapon r headers, will gaining power be an issue with that stock mid pipe?

 

I HEARD that the oem midpipe is really restrictive on some thread on here i believe. Might be wrong. Ive also seen plenty of people go with the Invidia spipe is it? Good luck!

 

ditch the oem midpipe. the weapon r header is supposed to have a built in s-pipe. and with a header, get a muffler or two welded into the midpipe because otherwise it will sound like crap.

thats correct. weapon r has s pipe to it and bolts up to whatever (oem or aftermarket) mines weapon r header/spipe and connects to megan mid pipe just fine

 

a muffler is something that will get welded onto the midpipe that will make the car not sound like poop.

oh and (you only have one header)

i'm sure if you tell them you need a muffler, they'll know what you are talking about even if you don't

 

def get a decent sized resonator unless you wanna sound like a ricey civic

 

Yea i think skinnayyy meant get a resonator or 2. Its what i hear recommended for anyone thats getting headers.

How big a resonator? I went with the Megan headers and noticed a huge difference with the stock S-pipe. My Greddy TI-C used to have a deep rumble to it at all RPMs. Now, its a lil ricey and I hate it. I guess the stock resonator wasnt enough? Anyone with input is of great help. Thanks

Alright all this info is sounding good. For corrections apologies for the "headers", common mistake just put it in the same way google search populates it at. ok enough of being technical, so yeah I read the s pipe comes with weapon r but so did my tsudo exhuast system :?... and I guess I'll have to ask my brother in law if the tsudo mid pipe has any problems connecting to the weapon r s pipe since he has it in his shop down in FL. About the resonator he'll let me know whats up no doubt and he welds so this project shouldnt be to much of a hassle.

Nothing wrong if you end up with a 2nd S-pipe, you can just sell it. And there shouldn't be ANY problems connecting up to the mid pipe.

 

as to having 2 S-pipes i dont think that wont happen. My bro in law emailed me and said he'll use the weapon r S-pipe and work with that while welding on a resonator or 2. this should turn out fine cause if he can do magic on his supra he can work wonders on my tC just trying to get a good start on getting nice gains with this n/a. Thanks for all the help, I'll keep an ear open for any other advice or comments. Video will be up in july!

what school you going to? I'm here for IT but i'm on my way out at the end of july. Bodega bay doesn't really have much going on, theres some good spots about 1 hour away and then there is half moon bay which is the best but everywhere has sharks. If you do bring your car you wont be able to do any work at all which sucks.

 

I'm going for sk, looks like you'll be out by the time i get there. I start in august, surf spots sound alright but do you know what sharks cause during hurricanes down in Florida you surf with nurse sharks everywhere. I wont mind unless they'll eat me. Yeah I'm taking my car but I'm getting all the work done prior to me getting there. Taking leave all of july to get my car squared away.
