i have noticed ever since i put my headers on that my alternator may need a heat shield, it just looks like it is starting to burn up. has anyone else had this issue, and is the heat shield something that would work?

 

i know that i may have to use a heat shield because on the alternator there is a brown spot on it. i just wanted to know if maybe someone w/ a header has seen or done anything about it?

 

Bump any1? I actually wanna know if any1 that has had headers for a while, experienced burning anythin up? lol
