I had rasp (not too bad but it still drove me nuts) with my stock exhaust until I installed larger resonator and now its super mellow and clean sounding...the CAI is the loudest part.

My current setup is DC Header > Stock S-pipe > Stock Exhaust, and there's hardly a difference in sound. No rasp at all. There is a distinct sound under the hood from the header it seems, I take it as the engine breathing much better at the higher RPMs, it might be the stock air box, trying to suck in as much air as possible LOL. I really should get a CAI or SRI, or at least a high flow air filter.

right now i'm running an injen CAI and a MMW header/spipe w/ stock catback. the CAI does give a rather loud whistle, but the sound difference in the exhaust is notable. keep in mind the exhaust sound difference can only be heard in the higher rpms (under 3.5k it sounds stock) and when under load. just playing around on the way to work, i drove 2nd up to 5000 rpm w/o going WOT, i just accelerated normally. It barely sounded any different than stock.
