ok...im thinking the bolts for the header itself would be a pain to get off..i was wrong they were easy for me.....but im having a hardtime with the support bolts for the header.......i know there 14 mm.......i used lots of PB blaster..wd 40 and so on.....any advice on getting these off besaides a torque wrenh..i cant get vice grips up in there..i tried sokcets and wrenches but when i tape it with a hammer seems to be slipinng and dont wanna strip the bolts....should i let then car be on and work with it cold

worse comes to worse ill burn them oof..cause dont need them with the after market header

if you're talking about the support bolts that mounts the header to the brackets that are attached to the frame, i just took the brackets off the frame because it was easier for me to get those off. Just a heavy socket wrench with a breaker bar on that and they come off no problem. You only get a tiny bit of a turn each time you can move it, but it works a lot easier than the other approach. Also, i got the bolts off from the top not from the bottom. only the spring loaded ones i did from the bottom. Hope i helped! ^_^

i was lookin at that after i spent awhile trying get the side bolts out....

do you think i ts easier for the top then the bottom.....all you used was the socket wrench and a breaker bar no hammer.....thats the only thing that is stopping me the rest was no problem

yeah no hammer needed when getting the bracket bolts off. just the breaker bar. I didn't have a lift or anything so i was underneath the car and a breaker bar wouldn't fit underneath so through the top was the only way fo rme. The header bolts though i used an open socket and a hammer for the ones on the header itself.

actually the stock nuts that tightens the header itself didnt work for me...as i was tighten then they all lost strength pop off and strips the thread so i had to buy new nuts and washers....i guess thats why they recommend you use the studs that come with the header so it can with stand the force..some say you can use all oen stuff but didnt work for me only thing i reused was the donut other then that and the stock studs.....very shocked that the stock nuts pop loose
