Help with info on Limited Slip
Looks like all of the usual places are $1100 for the dif. And then $130-something for the install kit (which seems to be required).

Hey man i always mention this to every one interested in trhe LSD.
look in to "Phantom Grip" its a limited slip conversion kit for the TC(and other cars) its alot cheaper than the TRD TRUE LSD its about 400$ plus you still have to pay for the install and find a transmission place that will do it(toyo won't) in the end i 'm guessing you end up paying a lil over 1K. and it works just a s well as the LSD wich you will end up paying over 1500$ for...

^ I agree the PG is a good option, especially considering the cost. Unfortunately from what I've seen here, many peeps on these boards are predisposed against it for various reasons, which I'm sure is primarily attributable to "group think".
It has it's pluses and minuses. If anyone is considering the PG, I'd suggest doing a simple search of the forums for "phantom grip" and there are a couple good threads that point out good and bad. Well worth the effort to search and learn.
