Default help with intake

Hey guys and girls. I need some help. I installed the injen CAI in my tc anditwas awesome, but I always had it in the back of my head about the rain issue. I am a firefighter and have to respond in some ____ty weather, so i put the short ram on, also is awesome. the only issue is with the CAI i get more colder denser air, but with the short I am safe. What do you guys think. Full CAI or SRI and what do yous have.

The short ram will be less hassle and between the two, there MIGHT be a 1-2 hp difference if you're otherwise stock.

well let me say this about the whole thing. You say you respond in bad weather? How bout i live in florida my friend and i have driven through 4 hurricanes already with my CAI (K&N) and no problems. Of course you cant be stupid and drive right into a freaking puddle. For you to hydrolock your car you really have to be looking to do it. It wont in normal drivinig conditions

go CAI it will be fine. you would almost have to drive your car into a lake t hydrolock it, b/c the cai is actually angled down any water that goes into it should just come right back out

Well, you are not going to lose out on much of anything between CAI and Short Ram, with CAI you will get maybe 1-3 more horsepower and with Short ram you will get maybe 1-3 more Ft/lbs of torque.. Either way, it will not be much of a noticable difference. And if you want the best of both, just run tubing from the front air duct right under the filter and that cold air will go right onto it.. kinda like Ram air.,
