Default HELP NEEDED: valve lifters!!!!!

so a head stud washer got stcuk in the head and my buddy deside to flip the head upside and the valve lifters dropped out!! i dont know which one goes where anymore and need help fingering out where they goes please help!! miss driving the car.

dude sorry to here that but they have to be shimmed. each cap has a number on it in the inside. you can go on dezod website. he has a reference chart there that you can use to gauge the caps with the cams

Yeaaahh youll have to reclearance them lol - put them all in, in a random order however noting which number is where, measure clearances, do the math and determine which one needs to be where, put it back together and measure clearances again to make sure you got it right. The clearance info is in the service manual and the link posted above. Good luck. Oh yeah, and if you have to error, error on the side of being a little loose, never tight. lol kinda like women
