Default Help, Possible AC Problem

I am concerned about the AC condenser on my car. To start its a 05 FM Tc with about 60XXX miles on it. Now heres the possible problem, Whenever I turn on the air(without the a/c on) everything works fine. But now as a switch through the different vent modes, as soon as I get to the one where it Vents by the windsheild and towards the feet, I hear and feel the ac clutch kick in and it blows cold air. If i press the a/c button with that setting on theirs no change, i can't feel it kick in like it does with the other vent settings. Anyone know what could be the possible problem?

Cliff's
A/c kicks on(without button selected) when switching to windsheild and lower vent mode
A/c button has now effect when in the mode.
It only kicks on by itself in that mode.
Everything else works normally

What could it be guys.

Should I try reseting my battery, take it to the delearship?

It is normal that the ac turns on when you select the windshield and the windshield w/floor position. It's to remove the humidity in the cabin so it does not fog the windows. There is no manual override for those settings. So now, what is wrong or what is your concern with the condenser?

The only thing thats werid is, that it never used to do this before. Just recently a couple days ago. But i guess if u say its normal than I wont worry about it.

The really weird thing is that you've had your can for 60xxx miles and never noticed it.

No, its always done that because its the "defrost" position for the air unit. It's always happened, you've just finally realized it.

I've noticed, ever since my car was new, that my A/C and my Heat never get really cold or hot, like other cars. Kind of weak.....
