Which intake did you install firstly... and then, have you gone to a place like autozone to get the code scanned... both those things will help us immensely.

pull the ground on teh battery, step on the brake until the brake lights fade away. plug the ground back in. roll ur windows down, open ur sunroof, close ur windows and hold it up for 2 secs, close ur sunroof. ur good to go.

this is the steps of HOW TO reset ur ECU. it is also listed in ur owners manual

Do and also let your car idle for 10-15 minutes after that without even touching the gas pedal. And don't rev it right away.

The ecu needs to be reset so you need to pull the neg on the battery and drain the reserve power for the computer and the radio stations ect. then let the car idle for 10 mins. and it should reset if not get some one to scan your car for the codes

If you pull another code after your reset... get it scanned... don't continue to reset it over and over please.

Default CAI

this might be a little out dated compared to your post. however, I am a mechanic and have been for years.
I too have an 06 tC. the reason that your CEL is coming on is probably because of the MAS ( mass airflow sensor). depending on the type of CAI you installed, the light is probably tripping because of the increased air flow. assuming the MAS did not get damaged in the process.

well.. all I have to say to that is " to each his/her own" ... Injen Technologies has done their homework. They are specifically designed and dyno tested to be tuned specifically for the scion tC engine.
