quick question to peeps with megan exhaust
i am thinkin of buying a complete megan racing exhaust system (except the cat, i live in cali) and i was just wandering if this setup would have any rasp? also i want a deep throaty sound, none of that honda rice burner crap. will this setup give me that? if not what will? any help is appreciated.
(its an auto, if that matters)

I have the full catback Megan Drift Spec Exhaust and it was VERY raspy ...but that was only because I have a Header installed and it is a catback.... I had a exhaust shop add a resonator towards the front of the car to eliminate rasp and it worked very well and sounds mean! If your not going catback, and you dont have a aftermarket header, I dont see a problem with any rasp.

i don't know how much room there is on your car for a resonator, but on my car my setupt was rediculous loud to the point of being embarrasing... and very raspy.. i put on a 12" Vibrant resonator, it was 50 bucks, and it made a humongous difference... they also make an 18" as well, i thing it was like 60 0r 70. if you can fit it, i would go with the 18 if you're really worried about rasp.

if you get a performance resonator like vibrant it won't hurt at all... you're going to need one for th esound you're looking at... full exhaust on your car with no resonator will be loud, obnoxius, and probably like a million bees trying to get out of a tin can.

vibrant is the name of the company. before you get one make sure that you have enough room in your piping for it to fit. i don't know how the curves are on the tc exhaust. if you're getting a 12" inch, allow for 14 inches of space. if you're geting the 18", allow for 20
