the cat will help since the midpipe removed your only cat that you had left....you will still endup with a little rasp no matter what though, but cat will take a lot of it away how big are the resonators.....I have 2 12" ones with cat and apexi can withthe MMR header and rasp is minimumal.....swapping to HKS can tomorrow so may end up with more rasp with my luck......lol

are the 2 rez on your mid-pipe Magnaflow ?? I know that Megan rez are not that good..
Here is my setup, MMW Header and CAI. Then I went from Header back wit, Magnaflow High flow cat, Magnaflow 24"or 26"(forgot) rez and one of there lg Mangnaflow Muffler...all with 2.5" pipe.. No rasps here..all most like stock with a little deeper tone...I think I lost some power in my lowend, but my mid and high end got better...

yea no cats mean rasp..if you add a cat there youll most likeyl loose some HP but youll loose the rasp well some......you would need like 2-3 really long resantors to get rid of the rasp.......

High flow cat would keep it from stinking. I can't vouch for the sound improvement though.

yeah i have a 2.5 aero resonator welded in the beginning of the mid pipe right near the s pipe. and the factory megan longer resonator. so if i put in a high flow cat my rasp sound should go down?

yea actually a high flow cat is just like a regular one but it allows the gases to flow even though the cat its why they call it a high flow theres no restrictions and plus it has high qualtiy honey comb material inside to catch al the bad stuff
