i dont know what muffler shop you go to, but most shops in CALI only crush bend.

and what is a compression bend? i have a feeling that is the same as a crush bend.

WHAT? anyway... the bottom line is:
i want HKS muffler. i need big resonator because i have headers... and BASICALLY the whole thing is going to be a CAT BACK! you can call it sh*tty cat back.. i dont care.. but i would call it: custom cat back.. thats it.

 

the shop has a machine..
the machine has an arm and the head is bended.. so its looks like this:

I have the HKS Hi-Power Exhaust axle-back. I am wondering if anyone has the same exhaust along with some type of lowering setup? It looks like the HKS Hi-Power Exhaust sits pretty close to the ground already, if I were to lower my TC using say... the TRD springs, would I have scraping issues? It really seems like if the HKS exhaust were to be lowered 1.25"; it would be TOO close the the ground, possibly getting scraped while going up driveways and such. If you have the HKS Hi-Power exhaust along with some type of lowering setup, PLEASE GIVE ME YOUR INPUT!

Hey CSOCSO is that a resonator? Can you quickly educate me on resonator and exhaust real fast. Tell me what size it is and how to make it work probably and such. i was looking into magnaflow resonator too but wasn't sure what to do.

 

im not a pro either. but. about the resonator: its eliminate all the rasp, so the exhaust is not gonna fart that much. about the magnaflow : the local muffler shop told me to get this, then i pm ed someone how is he liked his magnaflow resonator and he said he loves it. so hurray.

sounds good but not that deep and loud is i wanted 2.

i had a cheap axle back ____.. that was loud and DEEEEEEP!
sometimes this sound a little bit riey but not much. the video is bad not reflect the real sound of it.!!! but i LOVE the look! and sounds nice. not that much rasp thanks for the resonator

Looks Nice man! good choice on the HKS, however the resonator doesn't seem like its doing anything. I personally think the axle-back Hi-Power sounds much better! The small one, even with a resonator sounds raspy, ricey, and underpowered. But hey, everyone likes it different.

definitely doesn't sound ____ty, just raspy and ricey! I just figured a resonator would do more. HKS exhaust again was a fantastic choice, can't go wrong with quality bro!

 

It sounds decent for having headers. Imo, I don't like the way aftermarket headers sound on our cars, but congrats, it looks really nice...
