I dunno haha seems pretty simple to me too. Took me a bit to figure it out when I first picked it up but I got it pretty quickly.

lol i figured it out myself today. its a lot easier to see how it would working in daylight. i still get the rattles with the silencer on though. easy solution would be not to use the silencer but its the principle.

I'm pretty sure the HKS would sound a heck of a lot better without the silencer though.. I mean it's not THAT loud to justify suppressing the noise and making it raspier? (From the Youtube videos I've seen.)

 

yea i would never justify using a silencer, it makes it sound worse

iono i guess i just like things to work? but yall are right, after ditching the silencer i dont think i could ever go back.

 

did that hanger come with the exhaust? i was thinking about doing a custom hanger so my pipe could have support right where it bends so it dosnt move around. thats one reason why i liked the HKS cause of the three attachment points.

 

Yes it should come with it. If you buy one and it doesn't, just call or email HKS and they should be able to send you a new one if you cover shipping

still no photos, but i welded a bracket to the frame and made my own hanger haha. now that i know that there is a legit bracket/hanger piece that HKS sells, i would have never done what i did.

did you get the universal HKS exhaust or the actual one made for the car?

 

pretty sure i found out where the hanger goes. but does the bolt go up and then screw on at the top or down and screw down at the bottom i tried putting it through the top and screwing it at the bottom and it was hard to get any tools in there.

 

just put it on, lol
