Default HKS intake???

Has anybody looked into this intake. I was looking at an old Super Street where they done the S/C install on a tC and they was talking about the HKS intake they had. I was wondering if anybody had installed this intake because I am quite curious about it. I was wondering if it was a CAI or a short ram.

i would personally go with F5 Fujita CAI, my friend installed HKS he dosent like it has much as my Fujita intake =)...

and very easy to install,,,it took me like 25 - 30min.....u could pick up a Fujita intake from www.f2cars.com

or u could wait until my company comes out with a custom 3' intake CAI and or short ram.

Well, I have been thinking about the Injen CAI, but I was just wanting some info on the HKS. I am kind of picky when it comes to my car and I tend to go brand specific on it. I already have the HKS Hi-power axleback. But if only HKS would come out with a header for our cars.

since you already have the exhaust, i say get the HKS, it would be matching but it doesnt go all the way to the throttle body. basically connects to the rubber hose after you take out the air box.

3 inch is a bad idea. Espacially with our maf sensor the computer will run dangerously lean if it even runs at all. 3 inch moves alot of air slowly versus the smaller intake mving the same amount of air faster.

and yes the injen is a 3 inch, but at the MAF sensor it gets smaller, then goes back to 3 inch

I think I can help you guys out. I actually have the HKS Intake. HKS all the way baby! Haha. It is a Cold Air Intake and it goes through the fenderwell. Didn't take that much to install it. It does suck though how it still had the rubber hose and still had the resantor. So I just took that off and capped it up. Enjoy!

Well everyone has their own opinions on things, but I love my intake. Too bad I'm probably gonna turbo my car in the summer.

Actually I bought it from this guy that was completely brand new for $225 shipped, but you could check this site.

http://mauromotorsports.com/hksrasurecoa.html

And I know there is another site that is $249 Shipped, cheapest I've seen. Just don't buy it straight from HKS. Too pricey for $300 + shipping. I'll keep searching for you Mengsta.
