ay black, is there any way i can use the HKS Intake on my 07 Scion tC, even though the MAF sensor is different. Because my friend said he can get me a discount on a HKS Intake, and it will only cost me $150. Give me some help. Thanks.

 

Well if black doesnt respond too soon i really dount u can it will be hard to put the maf sensor . i remember some guy got an 06 injen CAI and he drilled his own holes on the piping and that dint turn out too good lol. Just my opiniong. im sure HKS wont take too long to make it.

 

Hmm $150 really from where? Are you sure hes not gonna just get you generic piping and then just an HKS filter? Seems too good to be true, you think, but I mean if its really the real thing and you can get for that price. Then go for it, BUT yeah the only problem is I don't know so much about the MAF sensor thing for the 07s. I honestly don't know why its so different from an 05-06 to a 07. Kinda kills it for people with 07s. I don't know how the MAF sensor looks like on a 07 or the difference. So I'm gonna have to look at that. And if HKS decides to make one for an 07. I don't have a clue when they will be releasing that. It did take awhile for HKS to put out the intake. Plus not a lot of people even knew that HKS made one for the tC, I'm praying that HKS would make a turbo for our car. Ha. If I get a turbo soon I will be more than happy to sell mine to you guys! =)

 

o Well itz not a big difference. THe 07's Maf sensor is smaller. Which means the maf sensor mounting spot on the intakes need to be smaller since the screw holes r closer together.

 

oh okay so you could some how get it to fit a 07 to fit just get a custom pipe that would replace where the maf sensor is or something

 

Yea ytou could or just get another intake. Would probably be a bettter choice. Not to change this topic but Injen has an intake for 07 which right now is a fan favorite. I though still would love an hks intake.
