Whats up guys, quick question...

Searched around a little and didnt really find anything about the HKS racing suction intake, for the tC. Is it for a SC tC or is it a regular short ram intake? some pics would be appreciated thanks!

iirc, its just an attachment to the stock intake minus the filter box of course?

 

its basically a short ram intake that attatches to the stock hose. its for 05-06 tC's only.

he's the only one i know with this custom HKS intake. he used the pipe from an Injen CAI, made it into a short ram and bought the HKS cage and HKS filter seperate. looks really good and i will end up doing this sometime this year i hope? he did not buy that HKS intake they have for sale.

i dont know if the intake would work on a supercharger, but here's photos of mine for reference. I can be used as a short ram, but I've never tried it.

i never clean my engine bay since there's nothing worth showing off LOL.

the hks intake is only available for 05-06. it can be made into a short ram, but you'll need a different filter. the HKS filter is too big (diameter) and would not allow the hood to close. HKS sells smaller filters (like the one pictured a few a posts above). i have filters from other old intakes that I can use.

i wish someone made just the intake pipe (that allows the stock intake box to be used) for the tC like these guys below...
