I have a umnitza carbon fiber intake and its been 6000 since I put the thing in. Now Im trying to figure out how to clean it. Ive contemplated just using the kn brand cleaner but im not too sure. Simota is the brand that makes this filter and airbox, and they have their own filter cleaner. Unfortunatly, they are pretty much unknown here so I cant find where to buy their cleaner. Gimme some suggestions.

By the way the filter wasnt originally made for our car. Its for the 04- Toyota WISH 2.0

its an 06. ^that pic is from a toyota wish

 

find out what material your filter is made out of and compare it to k&n to determin if its the same thing. you can also use the internet search engine to see what you can order online.

I used the K&N kit on my Umnitza cone. Just be very very carefuly not to get too much oil on that filter because it will run all over the place when you set it down and your MAF sensor will be coated in oil causing your car to run like sh*t. Thats what happened to mine lol. But I think any filter cleaning kit for the cotton guaze would work. Just dont overdo it on oiling.
