anyone elses injen cai rattle when they turn their car on or shift at low rpms? anyone have any ideas what might cause this, or is it to be expected? also when does the funny smell go away?
It's more to it than that.
That is a rub point, and the bend just downstream from the filter can also rub against the fender. I used a little bit of the foam insulation wrap to make a little pad and wedge it in there.

What I would do is start from the throttle body again, and make sure everything is tightened down more securley. If that still dosnt help, cal injen.
i had the same problem when i first got the intake. make sure the rubber is installed correctly. the part that hits is that hole where the intake goes into. you know what im talking about? well that part rubs. or try to get like some thick tape with foam and tape it to the intake directly because the rubber piece tends to fall off.
