What makes you think you are running rich?

What mods do you have?

you need to buy a wideband setup with its own o2 sensor. That will need to be welded into the s pipe.

i cant tap into the o2 sensor wire from the ecu?? i just did that to a friends integra. I think im running rich because my car sputters out once in a while and i have a feeling it has something to do with the custom intake i made to keep until i bought my turbo kit

its ok on an integra, but not a tC. We have narrowband sensors so they will not read correctly. You have to use a wideband setup. Or get one of those tool thingys that read from obdII.

^ Yes.... you will get nothing from trying to wire up to your stock guage, as well as getting crap results from a narrowband o2...

I'd be significantly suprised if you were running reach... the stock ECU does a pretty good job in closed loop of keeping you at 14.7

its ok on an integra, but not a tC. We have narrowband sensors so they will not read correctly. You have to use a wideband setup. Or get one of those tool thingys that read from obdII.
the primary O2 is a wide band sensor (air fuel ratio sensor) and the secondary is a narrow band sensor (oxygen sensor). Wide band sensor is on the exhaust manifold and narrow band sensor is on the s-pipe.

You can hook up an a/f gauge by tapping into the Oxygen sensor signal line at the ecu. I believe Dezod started up a thread with an ECU pinout for the tC. With an a/f gauge, all you see is a constant sweep from rich to lean, lean to rich.

you need to buy a wideband setup with its own o2 sensor. That will need to be welded into the s pipe.
if you understand what this guy said then do as he says. a wide band gauge setup with its own sensor has the ability to give you precise reading of your vehicle's air fuel ratio.

You can hook up to what ever you want, but YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR AF READING. You will get numbers or the needle moving on the gauge, but they will mean nothing. This has been tried again and again and EVERYONE has failed.

Sounds like the original poster just wants a guage to look good. Not a gauge to make sure he is running safe.

A quick search:

There are tons more with the same style answer I gave. but its your car, and if its for looks, you can just tap whereveer you please.

NOt worth your time if your planning on going turbo in the future. Just sell your narrow band and get a wideband.
