How to improve engine noise?
One thing I would like to improve on my tC is the sound coming from the engine. I'm not necessarily talking exhaust, but the noise from the engine itself. The stock setup sounds about as manly as an Prius. My previous car was a WRX/STi and I really miss the rumble under the hood at idle (along with a lot of other things
). I'm not really looking to add hp ( and definitely don't want to give up any tq either ) just improve the aural experience. I'm thinking headers would probably do the trick, but I'm looking for opinions. i.e. most exhaust mods seem to improve the sound coming out the back, I want to know about the noise from the engine bay.
