Default How to make a tC1 fast?

Hello, I am soon getting a tC1 Automatic.

I was wondering what are the best mods to make it faster?

I personally made 10ish hp with G.F.I & AFE drop in filter/ Dezod exhaust/ Invidia S-pipe. Tuned with E-Manage Ultimate. Might be tougher being auto. Not sure how important it is for you to go after gains. If you have extra cash laying around then that's cool. You'll need all bolt ons available and some type of equipment to tune.
I also got re-tuned 100,000 miles after with the NST Pulley set, Weapon R Intake manifold with RX-8 throttle body. Maybe my motor is losing power but I only made a bit more torque and didn't get faster. I spent a lot of money and time to find out if it's really worth it.
I had a Dezod Header but didn't get to use it. The stock exhaust manifold is where the most restriction is. I have a shoe box full of drag strip time slips. After all that I would have definitely rather have gone boosted or stayed stock. I'm completely stock now. Hope that helps and saves you cash.

If you want fast sell the car and buy C5 vette. If you want to good fuel mileage
and low maintenance, keep the Scion and enjoy it for what it is (n't).

<-------can beat C5 Corvettes. Going to need a modded Z06 if you want to even attempt to keep up.

OP, don't take advice from people who have slow Scions also.

You could drop it out of an airplane...

I bet it'd get going pretty good with that 9.8m/s^2 acceleration.

I say in I/H/E, a Cam, something to tune it all on a auto should be what your looking. all because its an auto.

Don't make a difference it cuts some power back. I have both a auto and manual and to me my auto feels way more fun then my manual does.

if autos was such a waste then why do they use it for drag racing applications if manuals was so much better then you think they would use that instead. imo you would spend a little more on your auto then you would a manual but if done right you can pass a manual all day long
