I will never understand people trying to mod automatics. My first car was automatic, before i got into the "car scene" I wanted to make it fast.
But I quickly learned that autos (not all autos) are ____ and no one mods them because it's a WASTE OF MONEY.

You know what i did ? Sold the POS, and Bought me an MR2 turbo, Manual. BOY that was awesome lol

There are a number of things you can do to get a little boost in performance on your tC. Start with the internal engine,
get some Iridium plugs, some good ignition coils, and a Cold Air Intake. Use mid-grade gas and you'll notice a difference.
