Default how to: weapon r style cel elminator for 12 dollars

OK well i dont have the right tools or the patients to drill through an antifouler so I made a weapon r style one.

I took an antifouler and went to my local hardware store and bought a 3/8" galvanized steel connecting nipple, a 3/8" to 1/2" 90 degree elbow, and a 1/2" piece of 2" pipe. I screwed everything together, then went to my exhaust shop and had them weld an o2 sensor bung on to the piece of 2in pipe.

and heres the end product.

i'll update after a few days to make sure no CEL comes up but so far so good.

well its not the prettiest thing in the world, but no one will see it, and paying 45 bucks for theres is ridiculous i was going to go to a machine shop and get one made but they closed down but its all the same thing.

damn never thought of that...keep us posted about any cel popping up. asa plumber have one suggestion though, the threads on that galvanized pipe you are using is not air tight so you should use some thread lock paste.(dont want exhaust leak)
