alright i just got almost all the money for intake, header, catback exhaust (does that mean it has s pipe too?), and pulleys. Would i notice a good increase in power and 0-60 times. Also i raced a modded integra the other day, it won by about 2 car lengths, with all this will i then beat it? thanks

as much as street racing is in no way condoned by scionlife or by the majority of the members here, yes your plans are a great building block for a decent power increase to help you contend with the integra. By increasing the amount of air and the efficiency of the intake you are sure to see some moderate gains (I know the range is around 8-12hp) in addition to a nice 2.5" exhaust and some less restrictive headers should give you 20+hp gains IMO.
My favored brands:
intake - Injen
exhaust - Random Technology
header - Alphawerks

sorry bout that but i dont stupidly street race theres a place where no one lives and its a long wide strip, thats where i got. But ya guys your opinions on the 0-60 times (makin the speedomiter go up alot faster lol), and if you think ill take him. But ya like i said to make it straight i dont race dangerously in public areas. thanks

are you an auto or stick. Get a torque dampener to elminate wheel hop.....and a lightweight flywheel will allow you to rev faster, so potentially accelerate faster.....remeber the integras are light, so they don't need as much power.....also what rpm are you launching at?

that's too optimistic. i'd say you'll gain about 10-15whp total with those mods. even that may be too generous. add an emanage or some tuning device and then you'll be around 20+.

what integra it was?? ls or gsr? because if it was just a 140hp LS with some mods then its bead.. i beated an ls badly and he got exhust and intake)

and i got only I/H/E

CAI: MAKE SURE U GOT YOUR WHEEL WELL!!! if u dont have that plastic cover around your wheel then dont get CAI!! if u got it go with injen.. or if u want blue piping then u should go with AEM ( i would go with aem because the color but i got K&N ( and the bracket is always brokes)

header ( well.. all of them almost is the same but strup headers looks the best!!!!!)

exhaust i got HKS, its sounds really nice.. u should get only the muffler and get a resonator (magnaflow 24 inch) and a high flow cat and let the local shop install it for ya.. i ended up with a custom 2.5" hks hi ti cat back for less than 5k!

Import Tuner's power pages section installed a I/H/E on a 2005 tC. Since there have been no changes to the car past cosmetic this should give you a good idea of what you would get. http://www.importtuner.com/powerpage..._tc/index.html If you want to go faster, my advice would be keep saving and add boost. An I/H/E will help but not as much as a turbo or the TRD supercharger. The later of the two will also let you keep your warranty.

Take stuff out of your car. If you just want fast, remove the dead weight. Our car is very heavy, a little weight watchers will go a long way on this butch.

i'm telling you, the tq dampener (ingalls) will eliminate that wheel hop.....for launches, i've found it best to feather the clutch, cause a straight dumping of a clutch doesn't work on the tC.....i/h/e like mentioned won't net you what you think you'll get, and most of the power is acheived in the upper end.....lightweight flywheel will let you rev faster....i think those are the most worthwhile mods, and they don't tamper with anything thats emissions related....good luck

exhaust/headers.. say goodbye to low end torque/power.

you lose a lot in the low end but gain some in the high rpms.

id rather jsut rid of weight. the car weighs 3000 pounds.... take off weight and you'll be flying.

basically hp-weight.

tc's have 160 horses but weighh a ton.

That should help. not sure it will get you two car lengths on an integra though. Should make it closer though.

Yeah, you lose low end power/torque. I just removed my MMW Header and S-pipe and It fells a lot different when accelerating. I did lose some power in the higher RPM's though.
