Default I/H/E + Pulley ... now what??

So Ive pretty much did all the basic bolt-on's for performance. I also did some weight reduction mods with the Konig Feathers dropping about 12 lbs total unsprung weight, Braille battery, and carbon fiber hood.

Is there anything else that I can do for a performance edge?? I don't want to turbo it because I drive about 500 miles a week and need my 30 mpg.

Thanks

For more "weight reduction" you can remove the spare and its components.

For more power mods you can do cams, or headwork.

HAHA yea true. I still love the car!!!

My car has over 100k miles on stock clutch. I could maybe go with an ACT street clutch with the 12lb Competition Clutch steel flywheel.

How would it be driving with the 12lb flywheel 100 miles a day mostly highway

Cams won't give much of gain, tunning is also a factor! But you should notice a lil increase of power

It's an overhead cam motor, all you would do is remove the valve cover and the retainers holding the cam. Not much of a "tear in." Cam's don't have a HUGE gain but they do gain you power and torque, added with tuning will gain a fair amount.

Ok, well yeah im not expecting a huge gain from being NA, maybe a decent gain, are they worth it? And how much WHP are you expecting from them, What also makes them diffrent from the factory that produces more power? Also not being tuned or anything,

A flywheel will make it feel like a new engine. You may get chatter on decel..(which sounds like you're trying to shove the shifter into gear without using the clutch)...but I had a 12lb on my old z3....originally weighed THIRTY lbs!

Cams performance is based on the cam lobes and the angle in which they are cut. This determines how long or short the valves are open in each cylinder. WHP from them, I honestly do not know. Only one company makes cams for our car, and not many people have used them due to the price. I'm looking into them since I have an extra head that I am playing with.
