I talked to the Vortech guys at SEMA (the people making the TRD SC) and they said its been shipped out already...so its Toyota who is holding back our toy

I too, demand information. This has gone on long enough for thy supercharger. O, and do I woe for thy AEM CAI.

 

Thats what I have been hearing. The people who went to Japan say they were told it was due to tooling issues of some sort and that it would still be fall. Oh well... more time to save cash for it...

 

i really hope this blower is gonna have some power to it. I hope to see about 225 to be worth it IMO

I also talked to AEM...sorry..forgot bout that one..and they said predicted release was 4 months...they were bout the only two companies I really bothered talkin to that much at SEMA...

 

I spoke with paul at mcgeorge, i asked about the SC, he said the only hold up is royalty payments to the patent holder of the supercharger design ( i believe that the company is vortech). It has passed CARB approval. He said TRD is saying the beginning of june, but he thinks it won't be until the end of june. Of course this date could change.

 

I think the supercharger is going to bring the tC up to 200 hp. 225 may be a push.
