Idle issues
My car runs fine for about 15 min then out of no where it floods and dies. sometimes the alternator doesn't charge my battery and It refuses to start without a jump or push start.... I thought it might be the O2 sensor or some bad fuel. the radiator boiled over the other day which is strange and my temp gauge read normal. All the wires seem to be fine I just don't have a clue what to think anymore. any ideas.. mind you this car has been in a fire. only interior damage though
Well, if your coolant temp sensor is bad and is making the ECU think it is below zero outside (which can happen.. and does) the car will run full rich to compensate. Are you sure though that it was flooding?
Something is wierd here though. For all of that plus the charging issue to occur, something was most likely done to the car. I am guessing that is why you are posting here rather than using your warranty ?

Are you sure it was interior damage only? if some of the wires were melted/fuzed, you might end up with some short circuits which would give you a ton of problems. If you ever have seen the wiring in the dash, you would understand where I am coming from here.
well the only true harm done was to the center console. I cut the harness and the only wires running through there (according to the schematic) is for the aux plug and mp3 connector. the other thing I can visibly see is for the park break switch other then that. I think I figured out what the coolant issue was now I just charging issue I need to find. what would make my alt charging my bat sometimes but not others.... I checked all the connections and there is a few blown fuses... no big deal. any other ideas... I need to cut the sunroof harness but that shouldn't screw with my alt? any other input

I hardly call that only center console damage (those are pics from your other post). There was easiily enough heat to trash all the harnesses, and the shorts caused in one circuit could have easilly heated a wire in the middle of a harness enough to cause melting within. Personally, to be safe, I would buy the firewall back harness new to avoid further issues.
Intermittent charging could very easilly be due to a partially bad connection or issues within the fusebox itself. Without having the car in front of me I cant do anything but guess.
