engine is not good N/A power so companies focus their attention on f/i. plus the toyota doesn't have a lot of performance oreiented engines anymore so they never come out of the factory making that much horsepower. not only that these are low/mid range power cars not high-revving high hp monsters.

youre response had no relevance to the question the op asked

youre point?

it can be done, i've seen it in person.

with ITBs, some GOOD head work, maybe bump the compression with a full exhaust and you'd have a pretty damn fast NA tC that SCREAMED!

(again i've seen it in person except on a 08 xB (same engine))

fyi, the kit would be 100% custom, due to the fact noone makes ITBs for the tC, it would be VERY expensive, time consuming, aggrivating and awesome.

you would most likely need to convert it to DBC and then get a standalone unit to tune the car.

is it worth it? depends on what youre looking to get. if you want more power besides going the cookie cutter sc/tc way then yes. fastest tC ever? nope. but it'll probably be one of the loudest haha

i'd like to know if anyone has done this on a tc as well. i know the k20/k24's respond well with this in the acura/honda world

you can, but like i said in my post above you,

it'll be expensive, time consuming, 100% custom, and awesome.
