yes i do hope someone notices a difference with that SS clutch line. i know i have ss brake lines, and truly, ive never noticed a difference, and i autocross. looking at the original lines, those are REALLY thick, and it would definitely take a lot to make those expand/crack/anything.

easy install BUT very messy..I ruined a new pair of nike dunks in the process.. the hardest part is bleeding the system..I would recommend to take it to someone that has the bleeder.. Also I think the clutch system and brake system is one unit for the tc's...good time to upgrade your fluids to redline or royal purple too...

has nothing to do with tranny fluid. It is the brake fluid that is used in the hydrolic slave cylinder for the clutch. When you push the clutch pedal down, the fluid flows through that line into the bearing and it dis-engages the clutch. That is brake fluid, not tranny fluid. So no you won't have to.

Ah, I see. I'll have to pick up some brake fluid.

Where do you bleed the line at?

There should be a bleeder down by the tranny. On my last car the bleeder was right next to where the line came into the tranny to go to the bearing. I have not had the chance to look for it on the tC yet.

Sorry I didn't take anymore pictures, but it was hard with my hands covered in brake fluid

Stock Clutch Line

Stock Clutch Line removed. You'll need a 10mm wrench and 1/4 Drive Socket to remove the brackets.

I used an old subway cup to catch my brake fluid. I didn't spill any until the bleeder spit it all over my fan.

Ingalls clutch line installed with the brackets.

All done. Now just need to bleed the clutch and your ready for a test drive. The clutch pedal initially felt better, but I will need more time to evaluate it.

You can see the bleeder if you just open your hood. It is right next where the line goes into the tranny. It has a little black rubber cap on it.

Hey guys! pls help me out:

So i got my car used...

and i didnt realized that my clutch is much stiffer than stock tc's, until my bro bought a new tc.

So everyone told me that i might have TRD clutch... so there was a scion show and a guy had a trd clutch and hes pedal feel was the very same.

BUT!!! my pedal is spongy on the top! after 1 inch pressed in, it gets nice, hard and stiff ( still much better than the stock pedal feel)
So today i took it to toyota, they told me its normal and they tried another tc it was the same.

Well.. i dont think they have another scion there with the same clutch what i have. but whatever.

what do you guys think. If i get this ingalls clutch line+ royal purple and i bleed it, the sponginess will be gone?

Been running this for a long time maybe two years. The line offers increased clutch feel. The line won't expand as much as the OEM line when there is pressure on it (It not expanding a lot just a little, but with Ingalls line its very little, and harder clutch pedal). I am using Motul Dot 4 and I also bought a longer push rod for the clutch slave cylinder because of the aftermarket clutch.
