Default Injectors

I was woundering if anyone has a DIY for injectors. I am trying to see how hard they are to install or anything else I should know. Also, would I be able to use my SAFC2 to tune the injectors or will it not work. I am just trying to get this whole injector thing down since its so confusing. So, any information will help out a lot. What companies are good and what should I get. I am going to be using them for a turbo set-up.......Thanks

You need a Emanage with injector harness to tune them sufficiently... the S-AFCII is still way the underdog to the emanage and unichip setups (Mine is for nifty looks).. the install of the 550cc PNP ones from ZPI is cake... pull out, unclip, push in, clip... and done.

it would run rich.....unles you can match your boost with the injector size on the stock ECU...

good luck with that

yeah i know didnt want to just slap it on lol and blow ish up.. SAFC alone is not good enough for a turbo setup from what i understand so a piggy back is needed like an Emanage..there are places to buy those without the kit right? ive found them but only like in the Turbonetics Kit and the ZPI kit.

You know whats funny the two turbo kits that produced the most HP at the wheels both use the SAFC2.....

I am looking for a DIY for the injectors still......

Look for the tC Turbonetics kit install instructions on the website. It’s a easy install. The injectors are held in place by the fuel rail. The fuel rail is held down with 2 bolts. Once you remove the rail the injectors pull right out then you can unclip them. Now you put the stock o ring on the new injectors and pop them in and reassemble the fuel rail. Now you can cut the old injectors clips off and solder the new clips on and snap them onto the new injectors. These are the 660 injectors that come with the Turbonetics kit. The second pic show the new clips attached to the wire harness.

I would think you would want to run between 440cc and 550cc at that PSI... someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

There are indeed 750cc from RC for the tC, but of course, u will need a clip harness for those. :D

Don't crimp the connections, SOLDER THEM! If not, the car will hesitate.
